For the third lesson, we learned about google. (peace)
We found out how to use google calculator, translater, ... erm dictionary and the 'Cache' thing where you can find the old version of some websites (i think).
I shall pay more attention to class next time so I can do a better reflection. teehee.

Topic: Google's helpfulness.

Today (3 weeks ago) we learnt about the many things Google can do to aid us in finding the info we need faster. We found out that Google could be used as a calculator, dictionary and a translator; how it could be used to find flight times, movie timings, other country's time; the usefulness of cached as it can be used to see a website before it was updated and more.

Google is infinitely helpful and is like the brain we never had. Which brings me back to the point, why have school with Wiki & Google?

Date: 3rd Feb. '10

Reflection: Copyright

Today (3 weeks ago) we learnt about Copyright and it was very uninteresting. Copyrighting is a serious offence and we can be arrested and fined for it. This is ~~extremely new~~ news to me as I have been downloading alot of mp3's of stupid websites like 4shared and etc. If I want an mp3, I should download it legally from iTunes Store or Nokia Music Store as Nokia now has Comes With Music which gives us a year of free music downloads (I feel like I'm advertising).

If we want to use pictures or info or videos or other stuffs, we should link the place we got the stuff from if not we will be copyrighting.

From now on I shall ~~not~~ use iTunes or Nokia Music Store for my songs.

Reflection: Forming a team.

Our groups were formed today 4 weeks ago. Fazli became the leader of the group, Maoshuang was the Recorder, Jordain was Questioner and Xiufang was the Encourager. Sean joined the group and became another Encourager and Wynne came in to the group too as a Recorder. We learnt the different roles of group members, like how the Encourager should encourage the team members to work/shut up and how the Recorder should write down notes about what had happened. Questioners were supposed to ask questions on how to improve, how to deprove and etc.

We also learnt how important teamwork was and team members had to work together and cooperate.
